Priests announce a UK tour in support of their forthcoming new album, as Getintothis’ Simon Kirk has all the details.
Washington, D.C. punk outfit, Priests, have announced their follow-up to the awe-inspiring Nothing Feels Natural, released in January 2017.
Their new album, The Seduction of Kansas, was produced by one of modern day rock music’s finest producers in John Congleton (Swans, Josh T. Pearson, Cloud Nothings). The album arrives on April 5 via their own label, Sister Polygon.
The Seduction of Kansas features a guest appearance from Janel Leppin (Marissa Nadler) and is also Priests‘ first album with new touring bassist Alexandra Tyson, who features throughout.
The band will follow-up the release of The Seduction of Kansas with a UK tour, which includes a stop in Manchester at YES. Renowned for their unhinged live show that bursts with DIY spirit, Priests are bound to deliver one of the shows of the year.
Tour dates:
Saturday May 11 – The Great Escape, Brighton
Sunday May 12 – Rough Trade, Bristol
Monday May 13 – YES (Pink Room), Manchester
Tuesday May 14 – The Hug and Pint, Glasgow
Wednesday May 15 – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
Thursday May 16 – 100 Club, London
