Not Hot Ashes will play Jimmy’s in August as The Futureheads to play debut album in full on UK tour, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley with the news.

Manchester’s inner city festival Neighbourhood has announced it’s first wave of bands and artists for 2019.

The one day event, which takes place on Saturday, October 12 will be headlined by Miles Kane, who tops a bill which will include over 100 bands.

The BlindersTen TonnesSports Team and Good Cop Band Cop have also been announced to be playing sets across 15 different Manchester venues.

Also on the bill are Buzzard Buzzard BuzzardInhalerSPINN and Witch Fever. The festival recently held its sister weekender at Victoria Park in Warrington, but this original event remains one of the hottest tickets for Manchester new music.

Zuzu will play two September dates following the release of her latest single How It Feels.

She’ll play at London’s Camden Assembly on Wednesday, September 18 and at Liverpool’s Phase One on Thursday, September 19.

Ferris & Sylvester have announced an extensive 20-date UK and Ireland headline tour running through September and October this year, which includes a date at Phase One in Liverpool.

Having released two EPs last year, and completing a debut headline tour earlier this year, they’ll head out armed with singles Flying VisitSickness, and Burning River and will play in Liverpool on Friday, September 27.

Stockport band No Hot Ashes have announced a UK and Ireland tour following the announcement that they release their debut album Hardship Starship in August.

Later that month, on Saturday 17, they’ll play Jimmy’s in Liverpool before heading to play in Glasgow, London and Manchester amongst other cities.

Sunderland quartet The Futureheads will head on a December UK tour, where they’ll play their self-titled debut album in full.

The band are set to release new album Powers on Auugst 30, and will in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester.

Lastly in music news this week, the organisers behind Off The Record festival and conference in Manchester have announced 2019’s renewal will take place on Friday, November 15.

The event will again take place in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, with a number of industry sessions and live music throughout the day.

Our new track this week comes from Liverpool band The Jjohns, they’ve released She Follows ahead of their gig at Sound on Friday, June 14.
