The Great Escape Festival 2020 announces First Fifty November showcase event

Brighton festival, The Great Escape have announced a special event in London for November as Getintothis’ Simon Kirk reports.

The Great Escape have announced a one-of-a-kind live launch for the First Fifty acts to play the Brighton festival in 2020.

The live launch will take place from Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14, November across six venues in East London.

2020 will mark 15 years of The Great Escape, which has grown to become the festival for new music and showcasing talent from all over the world.

The Great Escape will take place from Wednesday May 13 to Saturday May 16 2020 and will host over 450 of the world’s most exciting up-and-coming artists across over 30 venues in Brighton all within walking distance of one another.

All this alongside a music industry-led TGE conference taking place at the Jury’s Inn, located on the Brighton Waterfront.

In anticipation of next year’s festival, The Great Escape celebrates the First Fifty acts at the below showcases in November, which include London duo – the brilliantly named JOHN.
