Madcap Italians ZEUS! come to MelloMello and may just tear the venue down, Getintothis’ Joseph Viney avoids the lightning bolts.
Italian bass and drum duo ZEUS! are heading a cast of wonders at MelloMello on Thursday January 30.
The grind/jazz/fret-core madmen are celebrating the imminent release of new LP Opera the only way they know how; with a typically maniacal performance planned.
Sounding like some even more fevered Mike Patton project, ZEUS! will be twisting and turning their follower’s heads with fat riffs, drumming from hell and a whole lot of other noise besides.
In their wake will be Aardvark (featuring members of a.P.A.t.T.), Jacques Malchance of UpItUp Records and Hugs Bison.
And guess what? It’s all for the rather ludicrous fee of 80p. Some people just make it so easy for us…
