The dust has settled after a spectacular and emotionally-charged GIT Award 2015. An eventful evening saw All We Are follow in the footsteps of previous winners Loved Ones, Baltic Fleet and Forest Swords to pick up the main prize.
The Inspiration Award was posthumously presented to Alan Wills and the entire Deltasonic team while Louis Berry received the second One To Watch prize. On the night nine of the nominees performed with special tributes to Wills led by former Zutons frontman Dave McCabe who teamed up with The Coral‘s Ian Skelly while Coral frontman James Skelly reunited with Bill Ryder-Jones. Finally, The Vryll Society led an impassioned finale to the Deltasonic founder.
Getintothis editor Peter Guy recently met up with winners All We Are and the 2014 winner Forest Swords, who has returned to Merseyside after a busy 12 months, to pass on their £1000 prize money.
