As Liverpool Music Week, the UK’s biggest indoor music festival, kicks off this Friday with Richard Hawley at Grand Central Hall and the opening party at the Kazimier featuring Holly Herndon and Darkstar, there’s a lot of events to get your head around.
There’s shows from Best Coast and Health at the Kazimier, a headline slot from Godspeed You! Black Emperor plus DIY’s Breaking Out series at the Shipping Forecast, all leading up to the closing party at the Camp and Furnace and a free show at the Blade Factory featuring some of the best new bands on the Merseyside scene.
