The Charlatans and James have announced a huge show together at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Saturday December 10.

The announcement follows festival headline sets from both bands this summer with The Charlatans headlining Truck Festival and James headlining Kendal Calling as well as opening The Other Stage at this year’s Glastonbury.

James, whose new album Girl at the End of the World came out in March, last played Liverpool Echo Arena in November 2014 while The Charlatans played an O2 Academy headline gig last December in support of latest LP Modern Nature.

This opportunity to catch two stalwarts of the UK circuit who’ve delivered a plethora of iconic hits between them over the years, is not to be passed up lightly and is sure to go down in the Liverpool archives as a classic gig of the ages.

Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess recently released a joint album Same Language, Different Worlds with acclaimed producer Peter Gordon alongside new book Tim Book Two, which he recently visited Liverpool in support of, story here. He continues the Tim Book Two tour at Festival No.6 September 1-4, details here.
