The multi-instrumentalist and frequent collaborator Rozi Plain is to play LEAF, as Getintothis’ Will Truby reports.
Rozi Plain will play the upstairs room of LEAF on the Monday, November 11, in support of the release of her fifth album, What A Boost, released on the April 5.
The living room ambience of LEAF will certainly suit Rozi’s style, whose brand of psychedelic folk-rock complete with complex harmonies and washed out guitars will no doubt warm up the early winter’s eve.
Rozi will also be returning to Liverpool on June 6 at Phase One as a member of indie-folk outfit This Is The Kit , for whom she has contributed bass and backing vocals for many years.
She is also a regular contributor to indie stalwarts such as Rachael Dadd, François & The Atlas Mountains and Bamboo.
After playing a handful of festivals this summer, including End Of The Road Festival and Valley Fest in Bristol.
Her UK tour later in the year sees her play a number of dates across October and November. As well as LEAF, she plays Thekla in Bristol on October 18, The Crescent in York on October 22, and four dates across Ireland.
