The NME Awards Tour 2013 rolls into Liverpool’s O2 Academy, Getintothis’ Marie Hazelwood captures the rock and roll antics from down the front.
The NME Tour kicked off in Liverpool last night showcasing some of their tips for the top, Peace and Palma Violets alongside Merseysider Miles Kane and Mercury-nominated Django Django.

Peace brought new wave riffs and shades of early 90s slacker rock when they opened the show.
In the third outing in just several months, Palma Violets once again showcased a high octane display with recent single Best Of Friends a clear standout
Miles Kane whipped up a storm with the adoring Liverpool crowd singing along and lapping up his cheeky bravado
Django Django closed the night in characteristic fashion melding rhythmic grooves and ultra-catchy choruses. Superb.
