In case you hadn’t gathered, we’re rather taken with Etches over at Getintothis HQ.
When they dropped debut track Let’s Move In around four months ago, we worked ourselves into a mini lather over their pensive moody rockism before naming them in our 2014 Ones To Watch list.
Now they’re back to satiate our appetite further with The Charm Offensive, a similarly broody affair melding post-punk with soaring, slow-build vocals and buzzsaw guitars. ‘Cept this time added cowbell. Only a little one, mind, let’s not get too happy.
The Charm Offensive is out next month via Club. The. Mammoth while Etches play Threshold Festival in March.
