Liverpool Sound City have added The Kooks for its closing night party.
The Kooks, who played Sound City in St Luke’s Bombed Out Church in 2011, will this time play Wolstenholme Square’s DIY car park stage which last year played host to the likes of Aluna George and Bastille.
Alex Simmonds, marketing manager at Sound City, said: “This a real coup for Sound City. The Kooks are back bigger and better than ever and they are joining the best bill we’ve ever had. It’s going to be an incredible sign-off to this year’s festival.
Last week Sound City added the likes of Jagwar Ma, Factory Floor and PINS for their May festival for the full list of bands playing see here.
